The bowling green is open from approximately late March or early April to early October each year and is now open for the 2008 season. Members wishing to bowl have to pay a bowling subscription (extra to normal membership) which goes towards the cost of upkeep of the green. This is currently £ 12 per annum  and is to be paid to the Treasurer of the Bowling section (Mr Frank Cooper) at the start of the season. Alternatively members may pay a small fee on an occasional basis before playing. Teams are entered in many leagues and new members should contact the President of the bowling section (Mrs Christine Hoyle) if they wish to bowl competitively.
